Alleged Totem Pole Killer Indicted on New Charge

KOOCHICHING CO. - The man who allegedly killed his wife with a totem pole in Koochiching Co. is now facing a new charge.
A Grand Jury has indicted Carl Muggli with a first degree murder charge, according to the county attorney.
He has been booked in the county jail on $1 million cash bail.
He has already been charged with second degree intentional homicide.
If convicted on this new charge, Muggli could be senteced to life in prison.
