Press Release
SUPERIOR - Residents of Superior and Douglas County may bring their flood debris to the Moccasin Mike Landfill at no cost starting Monday, June 25, through Monday, July 9, (closed July 4) during regular business hours.
The free service applies to items damaged by the recent flood only and does not include anything regularly not taken at spring cleanup (for example, appliances, batteries, tires, etc.).
For those who are unable to make the trip to the Landfill, city crews will pick up debris on a request basis as they are able.
Citizens may call 715-394-0244 to get on the list for pickup.
Debris picked up by the City should be placed in the alley similar to the spring cleanup scenario.
