SUPERIOR - A Northland business gets inspired to help a cause after the child of one of its employees needed an organ donation.
FOX 21 first told you about Jackson Beattie, 2, who had a severely damaged kidney and received a transplant.
As way to pay it forward, his family hosted a blood drive at Calumet where his father works.
If you're wondering, Jackson's family says the little guy is doing just fine.
"He's doing really good we're just trying to keep him healthy," Jackson's father David Beattie said. "But he's full of energy and I think he has double the amount of energy 'cause he's got an extra big kidney in him."
For every blood donation, Calumet will donate $25 to the Kidney Foundation.
