DULUTH - Game–lovers from across the country have given a boost to a new gaming convention.

On Friday, FOX 21 told you about the people setting up Berserkon: a first–of–its-kind gaming convention that will hit Duluth in May.

The Kickstarter to fund the event ended over the weekend and backers helped raise nearly $15,000.

That met the original goal for the event and allowed for add–ons.

Organizers hope the event gains popularity and becomes an annual get-together.
